Heh... Gareth's code and mine are very similar actually.  I just managed to 
link it into the actual traversal of the schema and link it into the grammar 
for retrieval.  Gareth's code is a little simpler though.  I'll probably 
merge.

I like our API better than the XERCES-J.  Theirs is even more bareboned than 
ours! ;)
