I will bet this question has been covered, but I can't find it. Our primary app was built with gcc 3.1 so I have to build Xerces with 3.1 as well. Now, our primary app is not dependent on libstdc++.so.4 ....but the DOMParser is....which means that I am having some serious problems when I distribute my parser tools.
Cutting to the chase. Is there any way to build the parser on Linux so that it is not dependent on libstdc++ ?? I am assuming that the answer is no, but it doesn't hurt to ask.
