Subject: Transcoding error with Shift-JIS encoded file on MACOSI get a "Invalid multibyte source text sequence encountered" error on parsing the attached file. I am using xerces C++ v2.1. The code where this error occurs is in MacOSUnicodeConverter.cpp (function MacOSTranscoder::transcodeFrom) when it executes ConvertFromTextToUnicode() function. From what it appears the problem is with the iOutputBufLen parameter. If I replace maxChars with srcCount then everything works fine.
Is this a bug or am I doing something wrong?
Kindly assist
Vivek
