That's bug 24700 you're referring to? I agree that this is something we
need to look at; although I don't think I'll have time personally to dig
into this soon, perhaps one of the other guys from Toronto might get a
chance in the next couple of days...

Hey Neil,
It seems that (once again) apache is silently blocking my emails to
the list. I have sent about 3 responses to this and none of them have
appeared in the archives.
There is a big memory leak as far as my tests with both Xerces-P and
Xerces-C show. I think it would be a big mistake to release before
these leaks are patched.
