Hi folks,
Some folks may have noticed that I removed the Linux on 31-bit OS/390
binaries. This was partly because something went wrong with that build on
our end :), but mainly because it wasn't obvious to me that anyone was
using that platform. If anyone is, and wants those binaries back, please
let me know and I'll make them reappear.
The other reason is that there are other platforms we could issue binaries
for but for which it's not obvious that the need is there. To whit:
- Linux on 64-bit AMD (gcc 3.2.2)
- Linux on 32-bit PPC (gcc 3.2)
- Linux on 64-bit Z/OS (gcc 3.2)
- HPUX 11I, both 32-bit and 64-bit
If enough people care about these binaries, we can post some; but to
justify using the disk space they'd require on the Apache servers, it seems
we should ascertain whether there's interest.
