http://nagoya.apache.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=27046 XSerializeEngine is not thread-safe Summary: XSerializeEngine is not thread-safe Product: Xerces-C++ Version: Nightly build (please specify the date) Platform: All OS/Version: All Status: NEW Severity: Critical Priority: Other Component: Validating Parser (Schema) (Xerces 1.5 or up only) AssignedTo: [EMAIL PROTECTED] ReportedBy: [EMAIL PROTECTED] The loadString() functions have reference parameters, bufferLen and dataLen, that have as a default a static data member instance. This is not thread- safe, because two threads may refer to the same static data member, and loadString() stores critical information in these two parameters. A proposed patch will be attached. --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
