Is it possible, that the tar.gz archive of the xercesc-2.5.0 source release is corrupt ? I've downloaded them from two different mirrors, and none of them worked. tar complains, that the is not a valid tar archive, though it could extract exactly on file
this is the md5sum which I get from the downloaded file f87cd2fb2924f61e0e235cff296392f0 xerces-c-src_2_5_0.tar.gz
the md5sum given in the md5sum file in the mirror is different !! E7FF7D007FABFA7E3FC8C75A8007B0B1 xerces-c-src_2_5_0.tar.gz
