Hi Gareth,
I was thinking that would be the thing to do, and it could be put somewhere
under ifdef, since basic_string is still not ubiquitous.
I might have some free time to give it a shot.

I will knock up a FAQ entry about this. It's been covered a

times but I always forget parts of it.
Has anyone got an implementation of char_traits for
std::basic_string<XMLCh> they would be willing to share?
