Hi Adam and Alberto,

You are right concerning that first char. But why does my program throw an
exception when it wants to parse the xml?

If i catch the exception with VS it says this:
First-chance exception at 0x7c57e592 in TestApp.exe: Microsoft C++
exception: xercesc_2_5::XMLErrs::Codes @ 0x0012f048.

What can be wrong?
