Opening files for read using r+ which is for read and write on NetBSD
---------------------------------------------------------------------

         Key: XERCESC-1298
         URL: http://nagoya.apache.org/jira/browse/XERCESC-1298
     Project: Xerces-C++
        Type: Bug
    Versions: 2.5.0, 2.6.0
 Environment: NetBSD, Xerces 2.6.0 and 2.5.0 and probably earlier versions
    Reporter: Abdelilah Essiari

Why does openFile method on NetBSD open the file for read and write using
fopen("filename", "r+")?

We had to make our schemas writable by everyone on /usr/local/schemas to go around
this?

Thanks.
