And these header files do not include any lines taken from Xerces ?

If you are NOT shipping any part of xerces (e.g. a binary which includes
xerces, header files of xerces, or other xerces elements) then you do NOT
need to ship the license.

If you ship ANY part of xerces (such as a DLLL or header file taken from
xerces) then you should ship the license along with it.

Do note that from an ASF perspective you can ship Xerces, in binary and/or
another format, along with your product if you want to; provided that you
include the license file. There are a lot of companies who ship the xerces
DLL as part of their product ; and simply include te license file in the
documentation section of their product.
