The 3.1.0/1.1.0 version should be out in a couple weeks, because we are
committed to some folks to get a 3.1.x reference release to some folks.
This is not a legal committment from us that we will do it within that time
frame, but that is currently our plan. We are currently in the 'tying up
loose ends' phase, getting things ready for the new release.

I'll insure that the folks who did the initial IConv see your message. You
guys should probably hold this conversation here on the mailing list for
others to read, in case someone else wants to get involved.

When will the 3.1 release be out? I just need to parse
ISO-8859 named encodings, so if that support is in the
parser, that will be fine for me.

Also, I wouldn't mind trying to flesh out the iconv transcoder.
However, I am trying to write some simple iconv based apps to
get familiar with the API and am having trouble (bus errors). Could
you give me a contact for the person who did the iconv stuff
so I can ask some questions?

Thanks,
Stan
