I don't do the Linux builds, so I'm not up on the details, but I'm not
suprised at all about this kind of stuff.

Dean,

The binary always build without any problem. (I downloaded the files from
your
site.)

Finaly I succeded compiling & running my own libxerces. I was compiling
with gcc
2.8.1: now I've switched to egcs-2.91.66 and everything is Ok.
Strange?
