I just unpacked the the Xerces-c_1_0_0_d01-linux.tar.gz dist and I got a directory structure preceeded by /home/anupam/...
Also, I'm not sure if I got any CVS advice or not, I just got back from travelling and =have 400+ emails, I may have thrown it away.
