So, do you have an advance copy of the next working
draft of XML Schema or participate on the Working
Group?  If not, it would seem that everything has to
hold until the next draft (due Dec 16th).

I did post a couple of suggestions on the Schema
(support for lists and multiple lexical patterns for a
datatype) public comments list a couple of days ago
that may effect how you implement the regular
expression matching.

I was thinking that it might be a good think to have a
"normalized" version of schema where constructs like
the include, imports, archetypes, attribute groups,
etc are flattened out.  I was going to try to write a
XSLT script to do that after the next draft is
released (nested imports looked like a problem
however).  If that is possible, we could concentrate
on implementing normalized schema support and then add
the fun things like archetype refinement.

Just some thoughts.
