There is already a Perl wrapper (Xerces-P I guess its called.) So you don't
have to do any work there. As to the 1.1.0 release, somehow someone got a
little ahead of themselves (hope it wasn't me :-), since that release is
just now about to go to testing. Its in the 'any day now' mode so look for
it soon.

Subject: New Release & Xerces-Perl
We were in the process of reporting a bug but before sending it
we looked on the releases page and noticed that there is a new
release of Xerces-C++ (1.1.0).
But, when I looked in the distribution directory I could see
no sign of it.
Is it not posted or am I looking in the wrong place?
Also an another note, we are planning on using Xerces called
from Perl (Xerces-perl) on Linux.
We would like to help on wrappering Xerces for Perl
(or maybe more than just help).
Thanks,
Fred Eisele
