Yes, the announcement is premature. I'm not sure how that got there. Its
due any day now, so be watching for it.

Subject: Xerces C++ Parser Version 1.1.0
The web page http://xml.apache.org/xerces-c/releases.html announces
Xerces C++ Parser Version 1.1.0 on January 28, 2000, but I cannot
locate the release on http://xml.apache.org/dist/
Is the announcement premature?
On a related note, the first bullet in the announcement states
Simplified platform support (removed need to support local
standard output streams or to find the location of the parser
DLL/SharedLib.)
Does this mean that I will be able to use a static link of the xerces
library (a .a file) on solaris and linux?
Thanks in advance.
