Finally my friends that blessed day hath arrived. Version 1.1.0 of the
Apache Xerces parser and Version 3.1.0 of the XML4C parser are now
available on their respective sites, www.apache.org and
www.alphaworks.ibm.com.
Its been a long time coming and we do appologize or the delays; however, we
feel that this release is the best yet. Its got new features, its far and
away the most tested version yet released, and its faster, more compliant
and more stable than anything we've released so far.
We hope you experience as much joy from its use as we did pain from its
creation :-) Please feel free to let us know how you feel about this new
release and how we might improve it, and definitely please report any bugs
you might encounter so that we can fix them in subsequent releases.
