Problems with &#xxx characters...

I have some problems to render multiple characters.

My "problem line" in my xml looks like:

<prefix>&#345;&#345;asdsaSD&#345;</prefix>

The problem is, that I only get the first &#345; back, the
rest of the line is ignored.

Any ideas ?
