For the Macintosh, you will need to build Xerces-C yourself.

Included with the sources is a CodeWarrior project for the Mac,
but it's a bit old and will need to be updated.

If you get the current sources (take them from CVS or from a
fairly recent nightly build) working, please post your
experiences and any required changes back to xerces-c-dev,
so that they can be folded back into the distribution.
