This is really a question for the xerces-c-dev list but I'll tell you what I know. Yes, there are plans on having XML Schema support in the C++ parser. When this will happen, though, is hard to tell because of the difficulty of working in C++ and building the parser on various platforms. It's a matter of resources, really; the more people help, the sooner it will get done. I believe that the thinking is that the Java parser will be refactored and cleaned up (including the current Schema code) and then it will be ported to C++. So what's the answer to your question?
