Hi Pesara,
Would you please let us know what Operating System, what jdk, make tools are you running.
I am running Windows 2k, Sun jdk 1.3, cygwin tools with GNU make 2.04.0(1)-release (i586-pc-cygwin).
I downloaded the tools ( you need that to build the documentation), I run make from the src directory and I am able to build the jar files.

I would recommend to download the binary distribution and use it for building your sax application. Look at the samples/sax directoy as templates to build your application.

Good Luck,

Subject: Problem with installing
Date: Fri, 2 Feb 2001 17:50:32 -0800 (PST)

Hi, I want to write a simple XML parser using SAX.
I downloaded the Xerces-J-src.1.3.0.zip file and
unzipped it. But, when I try to 'make', it says the
following error.

src/Makefile.incl:59: *** commands commence before
first target. Stop.

Could anyone please help me in this matter.
Thanks
Pramod
