Actually, the versions of the org.apache.xerces.jaxp files on the
xerces_j_2 branch are the correct versions of code that should go into
Xerces 2. I just checked and it looks like the code that is there now
is the Xerces 1 version. Could we get the versions that were on the old
xerces_j_2 branch back for this package?
One thing I did not check is the source for the javax.xml.* hierarchy so
I'm not sure whether they came from Xerces 1 or 2. The latest versions
of that code should be copied from xml-commons/java/external as part of
the build process. As far as I know the versions in Xerces 1, Xerces 2,
and Xalan are old.
