Hi, I am developing a Java SAX parser to replace a Perl ordinary parser. The only problem is that the extra over head that the XML puts on the new file means that its about 3 times as big as the old file. This also effects its performace and it turns out to be about twice as slow. Does anyone one have hints and tips for making my parser quicker and also making my xml file smaller.
