I have found that some XML viewers/editors ignore the fact that an XML document contains illegal XML characters. What I mean by "illegal" is characters not in the range of valid XML characters defined in Section 2.2 of the XML specification.
Is there any possibility that Xerces will also allow this sort of leniency in the future (perhaps by setting a flag where the default behavior would continue to adhere to the standard)? I'm not advocating this. I'm just trying to find out pros and cons if this has been considered already or if it is currently under consideration. --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
