Hi folks,

Over the eight weeks or so since we last had a Xerces1 release, there have
been a few bugfixes applied. So, as Xerces2 moves towards its last beta
before schema support gets formally added--at which point it will become a
generally viable replacement for xerces1--we thought it might be a good
time to cut the xerces1 1.4.4 release. (Besides, doesn't 144 seem like a
much better number for Xerces1 to end on? It's a perfect square, each of
its digits is a perfect square, and they add up to form a perfect square.
(Sorry, long day... :-)))

Does anyone have any patches out there they've been holding on to? Any
other courses of action folks want to champion?

Cheers,
Neil
