http://nagoya.apache.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=6110 Regular Expressions: '.' in a Character Group Summary: Regular Expressions: '.' in a Character Group Product: Xerces2-J Version: 2.0.0 [beta] Platform: PC OS/Version: Windows 9x Status: NEW Severity: Minor Priority: Other Component: DOM AssignedTo: [EMAIL PROTECTED] ReportedBy: [EMAIL PROTECTED] The Regular Expression "[.]" is matching the '.' character. My understanding from the Recommendation is that this should be treated as a multiple character escape. That is, the RE "[.]" should be identical to the RE ".", which is the same as the RE "[^\r\n]" --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
