We didn't handle "/../../" correctly in URI.java. I tried the two xml files included in your zip file, and only got the 4 errors you mentioned. Please try the latest code from CVS. (Since the change was made today, it's not reflected in the latest jar files from GUMP. But it will be available tomorrow.)
