http://nagoya.apache.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=9496 DOMParser will not ignore "ignorable" white space. Summary: DOMParser will not ignore "ignorable" white space. Product: Xerces2-J Version: 2.0.0 Platform: Sun OS/Version: Solaris Status: NEW Severity: Minor Priority: Other Component: DOM AssignedTo: [EMAIL PROTECTED] ReportedBy: [EMAIL PROTECTED] the "ignore white space" attribute is supposed to work if there is a grammar specifying an Element content model. This only seems to work for DTD's and not XML SChema's. The Parser knows to ignore the white space when it is validating *against* the schema, but not when producing a Document Object. --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
