Hi all, About a month back, folks may recall that I changed the way our build script works so that we can leverage code stored in XML commons. This obviated the need for the API's we have in CVS that are duplicated with what we pull from Commons, and at the time I proposed purging that code from the repository,on the grounds that, being unmaintained, it would inevitably fall out of sync with what the parser is actually using/implementing and hence prove misleading to new developers and any other unwary person who did a CVS extract, saw API's, and thought they meant something.
In response to some cries of pain and fear that I received privately, I delayed the purge. Now that a month's gone by, I think it's time. So, if no one else objects publicly, I'll do this on Friday. Thoughts?
