That doesn't exist; I hope you meant xml-apis.jar (as shipped with Xalan). You should be able to use xmlParserAPIs.jar also--so long as its shipped with Xerces 2.3.0, since that's just a pseudonym of xml-apis.jar. Anyway, there's no doubt that xml-apis.jar+xalan.jar+xercesImpl.jar = a JAXP- compliant parser+processor. My other suggestion would be to update your version of Ant--it's up to at least 1.5.1--and to place the parser and its API's before ant.jar on ant's classpath.
