I'm overriding the version in JDK 1.4 using the 'endorsed' mechanism to ensure that it's the correct version, and I've checked to see which version is being picked up at the command line, too. The version that ships with java doesn't have this problem as far as i can tell, and as i said in the first report, version 2.4.1 doesn't reproduce the error either.
