http://nagoya.apache.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=19804 XMLSerializer serializes CR, LF and mutliple spaces without escaping ------- Additional Comments From [EMAIL PROTECTED] 2003-11-19 16:09 ------- I think that there is still an issue with the spaces. Consider this situation: XML document attributes contain ESCAPED spaces. Parse into DOM - escaped spaces are real spaces in the DOM. Serialize DOM to XML. XML attribute now contains spaces that are NOT ESCAPED. Parse into DOM - escaped spaces are normalized away - DOM is now different. Serialize DOM to XML. Spaces have disappears XML is really different to the original. Point is escaped spaces should ALWAYS be preserved and hence a DOM with > 1 space in a row should have spaces ESCAPED when serializing. --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
