http://nagoya.apache.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=7206 Memory leak when doc has many references to external entities. [EMAIL PROTECTED] changed: What |Removed |Added ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Status|NEW |RESOLVED Resolution| |FIXED ------- Additional Comments From [EMAIL PROTECTED] 2004-01-09 16:01 ------- There was a bug in the parser which caused it to hold onto references of all input stream opened during a single parse. They were only being closed and disposed of after parsing, so if you had a document with references to many parsed entities indeed you may have run out of memory. This has been fixed in Xerces 2.6.0. Streams are now closed and are left unreferenced for garbage collection as soon as the parser has finished reading them. See Bug #897 and Bug #19152. They were also symptoms of this bug. --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
