W3C's VoiceXML schema reported invalid

           Summary: W3C's VoiceXML schema reported invalid
           Product: Xerces2-J
           Version: 2.6.0
          Platform: PC
               URL: http://www.w3.org/TR/xmlschema-2/
        OS/Version: Windows NT/2K
            Status: NEW
          Severity: Blocker
          Priority: Other
         Component: XML Schema datatypes
        AssignedTo: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
        ReportedBy: [EMAIL PROTECTED]

The error reported is:

Error on line 55 of document http://www.w3.org/TR/voicexml20/synthesis-
core.xsd: InvalidRegex: Pattern value '[+-]([0-9]+|[0-9]+.[0-9]*|[0-9]*.[0-9]
+)' is not a valid regular expression. The reported error was: ''-' is an
invalid character range. Write '\-'.'.

I guess this is thrown from the first character group '[+-]' and this goes
against that quote in the XML Schema Part 2 W3C Recommendation dated 02 May
2001:
<quote>
The - character is a valid character range only at the beginning or end of a
·positive character group·
</quote>

Kind Regards
