Hi everyone,

Last week Elena announced the next release of Xerces would be this
Wednesday.  As with the previous release we need to formally show consensus
that it is indeed time for a new release of Xerces-J, so I'm asking the
committers to vote. Here's my +1.

We're hoping to announce a code freeze at the end of today (12:01 AM EST).
If anyone finds a serious bug, please post a message to the mailing list
and we will postpone the release.
