Hi Ringo,

Have a look at the org.apache.xerces.readers.XCatalog.java class; it is an
implementation of the XCatalog Draft 0.2. This hasn't been updated for
quite some time it would seem, but support is there; there's also an
infrastructure for building support for other kinds of catalogs into the
parser: see org.apache.xerces.readers.XMLCatalogHandler.java.

Hope that helps,
Neil

Subject: Does Xerces support catalog files?

Hello,

I would like to use PUBLIC identifiers in my XML files without
having to specify where the real DTD is stored. If I understand
correctly, catalog files are what I need. But does Xerces Java
support catalog files, and where can I find information on how
to define and use one?

Ringo
