Hello people.   Yes, you can use an identity transform :   use the method newTransformer() (class TransformerFactory) with no parameter.   Another way is to use JDOM which is almost a JDK API (that is to say, not an implementation).     Hope that helps.                                                    Jean-Guillaume.
