I believe it means that you didn't use standard URI format.
Windoze-only-based tools cheat and let you use Windows paths, but that's not
what the Rec calls for.
Try:
<xs:include schemaLocation="file:///d:/schema/address.xsd"/>

Subject: Validation with Schema with xs:include - Error
Hi,
I have an schema file that includes other schema file
as:
<xs:include schemaLocation="d:\schema\address.xsd"/>
When i try to validate an xml document against this
schema file it gives error message:
" s4s-att-invalid-value: Invalid attribute value for
'schemaLocation' in element 'include':
cvc-datatype-valid.1.2.1."
the included schema exists in the correct path and i
can validate the xml against the same schema using xml
spy without error.
What does this error message mean??
Thanks
