My only interest is to use application development tools for Application development.
It is really frustration and time wasting to find bugs or reading about bugs.
How come there are so many bugs in everything so much so that it is an accepted fact of life ?
I have to say it is a real confidence breaker. One gets the impression proper practices are not in place.
Should bugs be an accepted fact of life ?
If you buy a car and there was something wrong with it, would you return it ?
Do you think the reason is high staff turnover hence bugs ?
How come the last time I used reliable software was VMS which never crashed or broke down
or anything ?
Actually, is it possible to get VMS for PCs and were ?
Can I run Java products like tomcat on it ?
How come VMS being an old system, to run batch jobs all you had to was put your
commands in a .com file and that's it. Simple straight forward. You were sure were it would run.
