Have you look at sample samples\dom\DOMAddLines?
It is possible to attach user nodes to object using the method setUsedData, so if you could tell
what line you are parsing ( via documenthandler) it is possible that you can attach line number to a
node.
Hope this helps,

Subject: Q: DOM node to line number?
Date: Wed, 3 Sep 2003 12:13:59 +0200

Hi
Is there a means - standard or otherwise - to trace a DOM node to its line
number in the XML source?

I assume this is parser-specific. I use Xerces 2.5 - possible?

Thanks very much,
Chris
