XML Validation with XSD

Hi,

is there a way to validate an xml by an xsd without having the line to the
xsd
e.g.:
<news xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance";
xsi:noNamespaceSchemaLocation="index.xsd">

i've only the 2 files like transforming an xml by an xsl via xalan?

in java.
