I'm happy to finally announce the release of Xerces.pm 1.5.4
I'd really like to see those of you using Solaris and RedHat tell me
if you can compile without trouble.
It took me a while longer than I expected to get EntityResolver
working, but in the end I prevailed. I suspect that this will be the
biggest API change for a while to come. My next focus, as has been
suggested by others on the list, is documentation, documentation,
documentation.

compile on different architectures
