hi; (cross post is poor netiquette, but this is relevant to both)
has anybody built xerces-c 1.6 on a Windows box with gcc? i just tried, and i knew i was looking for trouble because there are no build instructions for same and runConfigure knows nothing about win32 or CygWin. I believe that i need to build Xerces-C with gcc in order for it to properly interact with Xerces-P, which i am pretty sure has to be compiled with gcc to match up with perl. It seems theoretically possible. Xerces-C hast a Win32 Platform dir already! it runs on Windows! so most, if not all of the 'Porting Instructions' have been fufilled. I am sure i could hack at this for a while and get something, but if somebody here has a recipe for making this work. i'd love to hear about it! tnx! johnu --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
