Still a little tricky. The "gmake install" from xerces-c doesn't create all the necessary /usr/local/lib links for Xerces-perl.
Oh, and I didn't realize that the API for Xerces Perl had changed between 1.7 and 2. Bleh.

I got the same problems. It seems like you have to use the same xercesc version than the Perl wrapper. Everything works fine with Xerces-C-2.0 and Xerces-P-2.0.0.3.
