Taking another look the whole first line looks like you want it to be
{} &{} & {} & \multicolumn{3}{c|}{$(\triangle E_B)_g$} &{}&
\multicolumn{2}{c|}{$M_B$} \\
so one multicol spans 3 columns and ens with a | and the second spans 2 columns
and also ends with a |.
In any case this table is really ugly. Take a look at the booktabs package and
do you really need all those vertical lines?
