Howdy,

Mac doesn't necessarily use the same font installation as in Linux.

PS: When updating makes changes to the opentype folder you'll have to re-open 
Font Book and it will have to recheck the fonts. You'll know because all of a 
sudden a file that uses one of those fonts will not compile.
