On my system I get the following warning:

* fontspec warning: "script-not-exist-latn"
*
* Font 'Times New Roman' does not contain script 'Greek'.
* 'Latin' script used instead.
*************************************************
but maybe we are using different versions of the font.Now the following solves
the problem:
\setmainfont[Mapping=tex-text]{Minion Pro}
\newfontfamily\greekfont[Script=Greek,Mapping=tex-text]{Minion Pro}
BTW, in Greek one uses « and » to quote text, not the
double quotation marks.
