Well spotted, Jonathan : one of the few things I dislike about CSS
is the enforced omission of spaces in certain contexts. The one
you cite is one, another is between factors and units, as in
1em: good; 1 em; bad.
The latter leads we TeXxies into CSS error time and time again,
and the former regularly bites me as well, particularly in
the "URL(" construct :-(
