Or switch to XeTeX 0.9999 which render both correctly (didn’t look
deeper, but I suspect it is HarfBuzz’s normalization).
Thanks, Khaled, that’s the explanation why I had troubles when trying to
replicate Richard’s problem, and also why I was unable to test
decomposed EBGaramond directly. Is there a way to disable HB’s
normalization?
